A relatively new cross of A. atropurpureum and A. karataviense, Allium Ostara has nectar-rich, 4”- to 6”-wide dark purple globes and long-lasting glossy, blue-green foliage. Shorter than the rest of the big globe varieties, it is great for borders.


Bulb size: 12 cm/up.

Bloom time: Late May/June.

Height: 16”.
