Allium aflatunense 'Purple Sensation' is a deer-resistant ornamental onion with 4-5 inch wide, globe-shaped clusters of vivid violet-purple, star-shaped florets on sturdy 24-30 inch stems. It blooms in late spring to early summer (May-June), is attractive to pollinators, and is ideal for borders, mass plantings, and cut flowers.
